Zero Tolerance Policy for Burlesque and Cabaret Shows
Dublin Burlesque Festival is committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all patrons, performers, and staff. As such, we enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding harassment, discrimination, and inappropriate behavior at our burlesque and cabaret shows.
- Harassment and Discrimination:
We do not tolerate any form of harassment or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other characteristic. This includes but is not limited to:
– Verbal harassment, including derogatory remarks or slurs.
– Physical harassment, including unwanted touching or advances.
– Sexual harassment, including unwelcome sexual comments or advances.
– Discriminatory actions or behaviors that create a hostile or uncomfortable environment.
- Inappropriate Behavior:
We expect all patrons, performers, and staff to behave respectfully and responsibly during our shows. Inappropriate behavior includes, but is not limited to:
– Disruptive behavior that interferes with the enjoyment of the performance.
– Intoxication to the point of causing disturbances or endangering oneself or others.
– Any behavior that violates the safety or well-being of others.
– Non-consensual photography or recording of performers or patrons.
Consequences:
Violation of this zero-tolerance policy will result in immediate removal from the premises, without refund, and may also lead to a ban from future events. Depending on the severity of the offense, further legal action may be pursued.
Reporting:
Anyone who experiences or witnesses harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior is encouraged to report it immediately to a staff member or security personnel. All reports will be taken seriously and handled promptly and confidentially.
